Plot idea - The Golden Scarab

So, I've had this idea in the works.
All evil in this world is embodied in the demon Chernabog, who rises each night on Bald Mountain. He spreads sin and evil into everyone's hearts. To destroy Chernabog utterly, the fellowship must take the Golden Scarab to the River Styx. The Scarab has 2 halves: 1 is already found, the wings are in the graveyard, and the other half is in NYC. The Scarab symbolizes sin, greed and jealousy, all the vice in one golden statue of a scarab beetle.

Sykes the loan shark from Oliver And Company will try to get his hands on the other half however, but the Genie and Pegasus will transport the fellowship to the city. There, they will meet Oliver, Dodger, Fagin and his other dogs, who will help them get the scarab before Sykes can and ensure them a safe return.

After the Scarab is thrown into the Styx, all villains will be terminated from the face of the Earth, because the destruction of the Scarab will cause Chernabog's death and the end of all evil. Hades will be the only survivor, because he is an immortal God and he will be neutral in the end. Any plans and thoughts on this?

hmmmm....I dunno about the end. I'd like to keep my characters afterwards.

Only the positive characters will survive. I think the end is well plotted, and what is more optimistic than ridding the world of sin and evil?

No, I'm not. No villain will survive, except for Hades, and we already know why. He'll be heavily punished though.

We also said that Dragaunus would survive! I said so myself & I remember that as clear as day!

I thought about that, and that is reasonable from one stand point, while from another, it isn't. Because he is a villain, he should perish. But again, he's out of this world, so that makes some sense.

Well Im keeping him. Because its SHOULD be MY choice if I want him gone or not.

Now you're being a bit spoiled. Ask me everything. Dragaunus will survive only under this one condition: After the Scarab's destruction he will have to leave Earth and perform no assaults on it afterwards.

Im not being spoiled. Its only fair that I get to decide what I want to do with MY character. The RPG's no fun from that point without action. Plus what if I myself have plans with them? Then in that case I SHOULD be able to keep them by that right alone. I think its only fair that since their my characters that I get to decide what happens to them. Its not being spoiled at all.

But until we get to the Scarab's destruction there will be more than enough action and more than enough time to plot. You don't need to worry.

I've made my point & Im leaving it there. -_- besides. whats the point of keeping him if he's not able to do anything after words? Theres no point at all. Thats basicly like saying "you can have him but you cant do anything with him"
